#8 The Austin Majors HOPE Strategy to END the US DRUG Epidemic

President Trump you are a great humanitarian and are a courageous leader. That is why I come to you to save the future generations of Americans and America itself. The United States can not be great without our youth and future. When you let one die, they both die. After 12 years of this unsolved Fentanyl emergency and over one million of our citizens being poisoned, addicted and killed, I ask you to show humanitarian, moral and patriotic courage to enact the ‘Austin Majors HOPE Strategy’ and end this American crisis.

President Trump I am respectfully requesting you to write an Executive Order to declare “A National Health/Humanitarian Emergency and a National Security Threat for the Fentanyl poisonings of our US Citizens. OFFICIALLY announce to Americans that ALL types of the illicit drug supply is being clandestinely laced, poisoned and EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE and DEADLY.”

The overdose deaths in the US have passed the number of Covid deaths. More death than all of our wars combined back to WWI. American kids are distracted and do not know the dangers of the laced chemicals that will hold their brain hostage. You Sir, Mr. President don’t even really know about it. You have to live it and battle it with your child for years to really know what is needed to help. None of what Austin needed and requested was available or done for him, or is still being done now. If you read this website starting at the ‘HOME-Austin Majors HOPE’ page – then the blogs in numerical order, you will get a clear picture and understanding of what we are going through. Watch my DEA Testimony on the ‘Resources’ page. That was recorded 6 months after Austin was killed. This epic crisis is a a complex multidimensional problem now.

This started in 2013 when the President ignored the urgent warnings and intel from doctors and experts. The kids that are starting to experiment with drugs now were not even alive yet when this started. The families don’t know about it. People live in their bubble. In 2023 at various DC Presidential Memorials the young families I talked to with kids had not heard of Fentanyl. None of them. The public is not getting the message about fentanyl, just like we did not get the message or the other million families with dead loved ones. Be truthful and explain it ALL so they will be well informed and self motivated to make the right choice. In 2021-2024 thePresident and VP gave America a 4 year Fentanyl Blitz, now America needs a 4 year Information and Treatment Blitz. People have a right to know and protect their families. It’s no accident that you are the President during this crisis. I know how you feel about drugs. Stoping Americas greatest National Health/Humanitarian crisis and National Security Threat that the United States has ever seen would be the greatest legacy of a US President in history. President Trump you have the intelligence, compassion and experience to not only solve this Fentanyl crisis, but also to stop the ongoing since 1960’s-current “normalized drug culture”, which would truly make America great again.

The following is an outline summarizing the 4 main long term components needed to stop and recover from this drug/chemical/security/humanitarian crisis. No one part of the following strategy will work alone, they must be implemented simultaneously to achieve success.

1. DECREASE SUPPLY :

A. Maintain Strong International Diplomacy to ensure that the PRC, India or any other country is not subsidizing the chemical companies making the Fentanyl and Fentanyl precursors. Ensure that PRC actually halts their making of Fentanyl and precursors and sending it to the US or Mexican Cartel/Terrorist to attack and kill Americans.

B. Keep our borders secured without passage of any illegal anything; be it people or weapons. If it starts with the word ‘Illegal’ it is an immediate disqualification, denial, no.

C. Keep all Law Enforcement Agencies well staffed, well funded and support them doing their job. Allow them to enforce the laws that ‘We the People’ voted for. Provide at least more up-to-date equipment than what the Cartel and Terrorist Organizations have. It’s a dangerous job protecting us and our communities. They eagerly show up every day and take the risk for us. Austin’s younger sister Kali tragically just lost her partner, Deputy Cuevas, killed on the job in a drug related chase. The drugs kill more than the user. Deputy Cuevas mentored, protected and inspired Kali. In 2 years first Austin, now a second brother Cuevas, killed, because of drugs. These chemicals/drugs cause so much crime and hardship. My neighbors father was recently trying to help some young men get back on their feet. The guys were using drugs everyday, moved in, and began selling his house piece by piece. When they were finished destroying the house they started on him. Tragically they didn’t stop until they killed her kind, elderly father. Why didn’t you hear about this? Because this is only one of many tragic drug stories happening every day. The drugs do so much destruction to the victims and their entire families.

Since the 1960’s when the US drug culture started the chemicals have torn at the fabric of our country. Can you imagine returning to a time where kids get to grow up like they did in the 1950’s without all the dangers brought on by drugs? Can you imagine the increased productivity of the US Citizens, reaching their goals, not loosing their liberty because they were exposed to the chemicals/drugs at a vulnerable age? These new drugs/ synthetic chemicals are so highly addictive it takes them hostage. It is now a weapon destabilizing the United States. We can save them. These are our fellow citizens that have been taken hostage and we have a right and obligation to intervene. In doing this, it changes the culture of ‘normalcy to drugs’ and saves the young vulnerable kids that have not started yet. The crime in our Country would plummet. The productivity in our Country would soar. WE CAN DO THIS!

2. PROVIDE MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT WITH LICENSED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

This problem did not have to be a national health crisis. In 2013 if the President would have warned the citizens of the US like he was urged to do by the doctors and agencies were warning him about, we could have already stopped it. There would have been about 900,000 American lives saved. The human rights of our citizens have been violated. This lack of transparency when they withheld the truth, that the illicit drug supply is being laced/ poisoned by China and terrorist. They distracted from the Fentanyl infiltration happening and assisted getting the Fentanyl in. They withheld known successful treatment from the sick people with a disease . NIH leader said in a staff meeting that Buprenorphine is very effective for SUD and should be used, but its not being utilized. (Please read the attachments on this entire website for all the data and reports of their actions. Pay close attention to the dates).

Recently I stopped to talk to a young transient who was outside of a store. He seemed very weak and ashamed. He said he was still trying to go to college and was on the basketball team. He had dirt and sticks in his hair that looked like he was sleeping in the bushes. I was trying to give him strength and I said, “You’ve got to hang in there. The DEA taught me that it’s not your fault. We’re coming for you! There is a huge movement of awareness of what has been happening with the drug supply and we are working on getting you guys help.” This young man’s eyes filled with tears and he started crying. They’re scared. They’re hurting.

When the human brain is exposed to extremely addictive Fentanyl it is held hostage. The brain needs dopamine from safe legal medication to wean off slowly and safely to allow the body time to start making it’s own again. The brain can heal. This Fentanyl is a poison/a weapon. They need recovery from an injury caused by China and terrorist, this is a humanitarian crisis. They need our compassion and support. This is OUR moral responsibility to help our fellow citizens because THIS WAS DONE TO THEM WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE.

A The DEA loosened the restrictions on the medications needed to treat the disease of Substance Use Disorder for this epidemic such as: 1. Methadone 2.Buprenorphine 3.Suboxone 4.Narcan 5. Vivitrol. Other helpful treatments: 6. ANR Accelerated Nuero Regulation is a treatment some find vey helpful. 7. Provide regularly scheduled Mental Heath Therapy appointments WITH the medication frequently. Have 24/7 mental health assistance available. 8. Mentors paired with the sick to support and guide them through recovery so they know they will not be alone or abandoned again.

This treatment is much less expensive for our community than lost productivity, crimes, legal system expenses, incarceration, healthcare for diseases related to SUD .

B. Have 24/7 Rehab intake of patients with licensed health professionals available for Medication Assisted Treatment care. Meet them where they are. Provide medication immediately, even in the ER after a poisoning reversal. Help them get to the rehab facility from the ER. Abstinence/Cold Turkey has a 90%-98% failure rate. Stoping ‘cold turkey’ is often deadly.

C. Have a National Standard of Care in dealing with Fentanyl Poisoning/Overdose based on science. People are still dying because even the hospitals/doctors in the E.R. are not always treating correctly with updated best practices. Sometimes the patient’s 1.are not being given Narcan 2. missed diagnosis because the drug screen does not have Fentanyl on the panel and 3. after the overdose when they are released home to soon, the Narcan wears off and the fentanyl thats still active in their system makes them stop breathing again. It is taking too long for each state to pass laws requiring this most basic of practices. Offer incentives to increase the number of doctors and nurses in the field of SUD. Update SUD education to hospitals, doctors and nurses.

D. Stop the Stigma. Stigma kills. Telling the truth of the Fentanyl being laced by adversary countries and like the DEA says, “It’s not their fault.” They are being deceived into thinking they are getting one thing and being given highly addictive and deadly fentanyl. This is being done to them. Train the EMT’s and hospitals to treat them like people with diseases that are needing help. Families have had to rely on law enforcement for years to help for medical problems because the healthcare employees do not help them. Law Enforcement should not be doing the job of the Healthcare employees. ‘Mental Health’ has the word ‘health’ in it. Healthcare employees need better updated training to handle mental health cases humanely ensuring to protect their dignity.

E. Have a National Drug Intervention. Give all of the drug agencies NIH, SAMHSA, NIDA, etc. the opportunity to implement their excellent research results. Millions of dollars have been spent on research and the best we have for treatment is 50 year old medication still. The numbers of people affected by this crisis and needing help far outweigh the ability of the local communities. The numbers rival COVID. So the response should also rival the COVID response. Don’t think that they will eventually just die off and the problem will be solved because new unknowing kids start experimenting every day. College kids are still experimenting. A USC law student told me last year that a fraternity was having them do fentanyl to pledge.

Drugs will be synthetic, potent, unpredictable and produce crazy reactions from here on out. Synthetics are here to stay. Fentanyl has been so highly successful for the terrorist it is the game changer. It’s Embarrassing allowing another country to win over us so easily. Pathetic that this has been allowed to happen to us for so long.

In recovery allow enough time for the body to heal and regenerate after this injury, include holistic medicine, 24/7 mental health staff availability in addition to scheduled appointments. Physical fitness education. Provide life skills classes to re-learn how to live again. They have been through the ultimate survival challenge.

F. Create a National model for a “Patient Bill of Rights” for the disease of Substance Use Disorder to ensure ethical and humane treatment of this vulnerable population in every state.

G. Regulate ‘Rehabs’ with stricter regulations. Require employees to be licensed health professionals.

H. Meet the patients where they are. Have ‘pop up’ clinics in the area where they are living to begin fostering a relationship. Gain their trust and explain the plan. Teach them the science.

I. Provide facilities that allow patients to take their dog into the treatment with them. They will not leave them. Their dog is their life force and family.

3. FAST TRACK OBTAINING APPROVAL FROM THE FDA FOR THE PROMISING TREATMENTS AND EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR SUD TREATMENT

Fund and fast-track several outstanding treatments and new equipment for SUD being worked on awaiting FDA approval. The agencies whipped up a concoction for Covid fast so….they can fast-track a cure for the widespread diseases they caused by withholding information and treatment. The FDA has approved this known SUD treatment/cure for the symptom in Parkenson’s of tremors (hands shaking), OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and many other cancer treatments, etc. Why is Substance Use Disorder/Addiction not being allowed medical treatment? This is the similar prejudice treatment like the health insurance companies not allowing for SUD treatment to be covered until forced with the Parity Act .

A. FOCUSED ULTRASOUND NEUROMODULATION

I am very excited to hear that Neurosurgeon Dr. Ali Rezai is getting closer to FDA approval for a highly successful Focused Ultrasound ‘Neuromodulation’. This is a one hour non-invasive treatment and most people in trials do not crave the drug any more. It’s incredible. I have been following this for a few years after seeing the ’60 Minutes’ episode. Dr. Rezai and his team have a more invasive treatment also that is very successful. Dr. Rezai said, “Part of the brain is electrically and chemically malfunctioning.” I will link the video. This has been approved for Parkinson’s and other diseases very successfully. I wish they would have seen addiction as a priority. Its our young trying to be poisoned from another country, its seems from a humanitarian perspective, or national responsibility the FDA would make it a priority. It’s been 12 years of this fentanyl attack. I will link another group with the ‘Guided Ultrasound’ also. Again, they are being held up in FDA approval. Dr. Ali Rezai is at the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute in Morgantown Virginia. He is an amazing man. Lot’s of HOPE from this field.

Other promising treatments are being studied for SUD: 1. GLP-1 2. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide 3. Exenatide 4. Imuno-intervention: Monoclonal antibodies.

Terzepatide added to Buprenorphine trials are to begin Sept 2025-Feb 2027. If you are interested I will link the NIH work video it was discussed on.

4. DECREASE DEMAND

A. Get into the Medication Assisted Treatment as soon as possible after exposure to the drugs. SUD is like every other disease in the fact that the sooner you get treatment the better the outcome is.

B. Provide a standardized National drug education program to the youth. It is now recommended to have yearly drug training starting in 1st grade thru 12th grade.

C. Multi Agency message campaign.Decrease exposure to social media encouragement of drug use.

D. Advocacy groups/ non profits performing community awareness and outreach assistance.

E. Encourage and fund after school community programs to keep kids engaged and safe.

F. Keep kids involved in faith based group community events.

G. Maintain youth athletics, community sports programs, mentor programs to foster community engagement.

This crisis started in 2013, was ignored for 4 years and then dumped on you 9 days before your 2017 Inauguration when they made a Declaration of Emergency to Health and Security. No press or meetings or mention of such warning to the public. You declared the opioid crisis a national public health emergency in 2017. This sounded like a warning for those other people that use opioids and does not apply to us. The TRUTH of the drug supply being laced by China and Mexico’s Cartel Terrorist designed to addict and kill us DOES make a lot of sense, and now you are talking to me and have my undivided attention. The words you choose to use matter. Speak the truth. People will listen.

ALL types of drugs including marijuana are being laced with Fentanyl. DEA labs from around the country are testing the local supply and finding that 5-7 out of 10 samples have a potentially lethal dose in them. Odds are that everyone doing drugs is being exposed to the highly addictive chemicals from the laced fentanyl. This is why there is a higher than 90-98% failure rate in the quit cold turkey rehabs. The funding needs to go to the programs that offer Medication Assisted Treatment and regulated medical professionally run programs. Follow the science. Starting again in 2021 President offered no real help, actually making it so severely worse and deadly by having no boarder control. All of the Congressional reports are there stating that you all know it’s two adversary countries doing this deliberately to de stabilize our country and kill American’s. Another massive problem dumped on you now, but we can methodically fix this. We can save them. This event also gives you the opportunity to show what a great Commander in Chief you are President Trump. There is no greater threat than taking the youth/future from our countries citizens. The US is loosing this war on it’s own soil. Sir, you are made for big jobs like this. If anybody can handle it you can. You have to send out a new warning. You know that most of the people dying ‘are not doing fentanyl’. They are doing things they think are safe. China and the terrorist cartel laced it with fentanyl, deceived the buyer and are now dead. The kids that are starting to experiment with drugs now were not even alive yet when this started. There are thousands of babies, one every 25 minutes, being born addicted to illicit drugs and they are even at more risk of starting to use in 10 short years. Some are teen agers now. They don’t know about the danger. Last weekend I tried to give a box of Narcan to two different people and they did not know what Narcan or Fentanyl is. They are not getting the message! Be truthful and explain it ALL so they can understand that drugs are not recreational fun any more. Tell them illicit drugs are being weaponized now. (See article.) This has gone on for too long. Honestly I believe you are the last hope. You Sir are the only one bold enough and competent enough to get the job done.

People have a right to know. Just like COVID except this is worse. We are loosing this war for 12 years because we have no Commander in Chief that has recognized that the enemy has infiltrated our Country. Therefore, we the people have remained defenseless, allowing our youth and future to be killed off. They are suffering greatly before they die. This failure to act and derelict of duty by the previous leaders is devastating, unbelievable, humiliating and dishonorable.

Stoping Americas greatest National Health/Humanitarian crisis and National Security Threat that the United States has ever seen would be the greatest legacy of a US President in history. President Trump you have the intelligence, compassion and experience to not only solve this Fentanyl crisis, but to stop the “normalization of drug culture,” in turn truly making America great again. We don’t have time to waste any more. Please declare the Fentanyl Epidemic to be a “National Public Health/Humanitarian Emergency and a National Security Threat”, and begin carrying out the plan. We need your leadership, decisiveness, resources and direction to save our citizens in every community of every state in these United States of America.
